Returns & Exchanges Policy
At Atelier Eisel, each order is carefully prepared and packaged with attention to detail. Due to the nature of our paper goods and small-batch products, all sales are considered final. We do not routinely accept returns or exchanges.
Return or Exchange Requests
In limited circumstances, Atelier Eisel may consider a return or exchange at our sole discretion. Approval must be requested before sending any item back.
To request consideration, please contact us within seven days of delivery and include:
- Your order number
- The item you wish to return or exchange
- The reason for your request
- Photographs of the item, when applicable
Submitting a request does not guarantee that a return or exchange will be approved.
Items returned without prior written authorization will not be accepted, refunded, or exchanged.
Approved Returns
If a return is approved, the item must be:
- Unused, unopened, and in its original condition
- In its original packaging
- Packaged securely to prevent damage during transit
- Returned within 14 days of authorization
Atelier Eisel reserves the right to decline a refund if the returned item is used, opened, damaged, incomplete, or not in its original condition.
Approved refunds apply only to the eligible merchandise and will be issued to the original form of payment after the returned item has been received and inspected.
Original shipping and delivery charges are nonrefundable.
The customer is responsible for all return-shipping costs. If an approved return was originally shipped under a complimentary-shipping offer, the actual outbound shipping cost incurred by Atelier Eisel may be deducted from the refund.
Atelier Eisel is not responsible for approved returns that are lost or damaged in transit. We recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining your shipping receipt.
Approved Exchanges
Exchanges are not guaranteed and must receive prior written approval.
The customer is responsible for:
- The cost of returning the original item
- The shipping cost for the replacement item
- Any difference in product price
Complimentary-shipping offers do not apply to replacement shipments associated with an exchange.
A replacement item will be shipped only after the original item has been received, inspected, and accepted. Exchanges are subject to product availability.
Nonreturnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:
- Personalized, customized, or made-to-order products
- Digital products
- Gift cards
- Sale, clearance, or final-sale items
- Items that have been opened, used, written on, damaged, or altered
- Items returned without prior authorization
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Please inspect your order promptly after delivery. If an item arrives damaged or defective, or if you receive an incorrect item, contact us within seven days of delivery.
Please include your order number and clear photographs of:
- The affected item
- The shipping packaging
- Any visible damage
Once the issue has been reviewed, Atelier Eisel may provide a replacement, refund, or another appropriate resolution. When an order has arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect due to an error by Atelier Eisel, the customer will not be responsible for approved replacement-shipping costs.
Minor variations in paper texture, color, printing, placement, or handmade details may naturally occur and are not necessarily considered defects.
Order Cancellations
Orders begin processing soon after they are placed. Cancellation requests may be considered before an order has entered production or been prepared for shipment, but cancellation cannot be guaranteed.
Personalized, customized, or made-to-order products cannot be canceled once production has begun.
