Dense flowering branches in amethyst, plum, cream, and ivory create a richly layered tapestry across this Japanese Chiyogami paper. Deep brown boughs weave through the blossoms, while fine warm-gold details lend definition and quiet luminosity to the design. Hand-printed using a traditional silk-screen process, this elegant paper is especially well suited to bookbinding, journal covers, keepsake boxes, endpapers, collage, framing, card details, and other paper arts that benefit from a refined floral pattern.
From the Atelier: We were drawn to the depth of this pattern: from a distance it reads as a lavish field of color, while closer inspection reveals delicate blossoms, branching lines, and finely printed detail. The amethyst and plum palette feels both romantic and composed, making this paper especially beautiful for journals, keepsake boxes, and handmade books intended to feel timeless. Smaller pieces would also bring a graceful, jewel-toned accent to correspondence, collage, and framed paper compositions.
