Verdant Garden Ribbons Chiyogami Paper

Sweeping bands of fresh green, deep forest, warm yellow, and white create a richly layered garden across this traditional Chiyogami paper. Tiny blossoms and leafy sprigs mingle with stylized wave motifs, giving the design both botanical softness and graceful movement. Hand-printed in Japan using a traditional silk-screen process, this decorative paper is beautifully suited to bookbinding, journal covers, keepsake boxes, endpapers, collage, framing, card details, origami, and paper arts that call for an intricate yet harmonious pattern.

From the Atelier: We were drawn to the way this pattern brings garden and water imagery together. Delicate blossoms seem to drift through broad, curving bands, while the darker wave motifs give the composition rhythm and depth. Seen across a full sheet, it feels abundant and immersive; cut into smaller pieces, each section becomes its own beautifully balanced arrangement. It is an especially lovely choice for journals, boxes, and handmade pieces intended to feel fresh, peaceful, and connected to the natural world.
